Issue: Too Much Product on Panel
Symptoms: Surface displays a sponge texture or noodle-like lines.

- Follow up with a panel prep solution and denatured alcohol to thoroughly clean the surface.
- Reapply the clear coat to restore a flawless, professional finish.
Issue: Product Separation (Contamination)
- Symptoms: Appears like sponge texture or noodle-like lines.

Issue: Extreme Panel Temperature
Symptoms: The product does not self-level, causing waves, ripples, or small bubbles.
Solution:
- Use lacquer thinner to remove the product and correct the surface.
- Move to a shaded area to let the panel cool down.
- Clean thoroughly with a panel prep solution, then use denatured alcohol to prep the surface.
- Reapply the clear coat for a smooth, even finish.
Tip: Mist denatured alcohol onto the panel with a spray bottle to reduce its temperature by 20° to 30° before applying the clear coat for optimal results.
Issue: Contamination on Cured Clear Coat
Contaminants: Pollen, dust, and other debris.
Solution:
- When the panel is dry, apply spray wax or waterless wash and wipe clean with a microfiber cloth to eliminate contaminants.
- For fully cured clear coat (5-7 days post-application), lightly buff or sand the surface and spot apply clear coat to address any imperfections and maintain a smooth finish.
